Sarah Musumeci is an outstanding New England photographer who specializes in interior and still life photography for the travel industry. When she realized that her business required an online portfolio, our combination of technical and photography experience made us the perfect choice to assist with the project.

We began by advising Sarah about how to choose and register a domain name. We then asked her to show us examples of sites that she liked, producing prototype sites based on these examples. Our discussions gave us a better idea of Sarah's preferences and inspired an AlwaysPhotographing.com tutorial on Creating Thumbnails.

At this point it was time for Sarah to prepare her photographs and thumbnails for the internet. She obtained web hosting from a friend and was assisted by her son in transferring her photos and initial content to her site.

With the actual photos available, it was time to bring back the early prototypes using Sarah's own photographs. A series of discussions refined the layout, navigation, and text content. Additionally, the site was designed to be easily maintained as the portfolio grows. The final result is an online portfolio that complements Sarah Musumeci's excellent photography.
